Biography

Houda GHORBEL & Wadi MHIRI are two multidisciplinary, independant artists. They are based in Tunis. Their artworks are wide : videos, installations, performances, architecture of the space … Wadi and Houda form a couple. If we would look for a common thread to their artworks, we would say that the engagement and the passion of art are this poetic vector. Their tandem artworks question the African territory, the collective memory, the social political context and the religious culture. Each one of them participated as well in different projects, exhibitions, and national, international residencies.
