Dinebook

Dinebook” is a luminous, interactive, Plexiglas device of 115 x 150 cm, which was exhibited in the Ibdellia Palace during the “Art Fair Tunis” festival, 2012.

Its configuration is inspired from the social network Facebook, but, represents a completely different type. Transparent and bright, dinebook wants to expose the religious intolerance by presenting 12 photos of different prayers. A device at the heart of the actuality recalling the very meaning of the prayer and the meditation which is lost for the benefit of the political interests and the extremism.

Dinebook is a network that brings together several religions and ensures communication full of tolerance. It lights up in the presence of the spectator and extinguishes at its departure.

The meaning of the word Dinebook implies two meanings : One innocent and the other ironic.
